Metro Parks Annual Print Contest
Each year the Columbus Metro Parks sponsors a print contest with volunteer help from the Lens & Leaves Camera Club. Entries are typically due in the second week of October. In 2006, we received over 250 entries in the 10 categories. There is no entry fee.
Shoot the Hills
Shoot the Hills is a weekend photography event held near the end of April in Hocking Hills. People come from all over to enter and the competition is quite stiff. More information can be found on their website http://www.shootthehills.com. There is an participation fee for this event.
MORPC
Each year the Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission sponsors a "Greenways" photograpy competition. Each entrant can submit one photograph of any watershed in Franklin County. There are some cash awards, and the several entries are exhibited at the MORPC building in Columbus. The MORPC website is at http://www.morpc.org.
German Mega Circuit
The German Mega Circuit is a photography competition fo photographers around the globe. Their website has details and qualifications.
